I spent the day working around the house and cleaning. Chris called me again today. He wanted to verify that I still had his bonds. I told him that I did and that under no circumstances would I give them to his mother. That was what he called to tell me, hey did not want his mother to have them. I told him not to worry because they were safe and locked up in a safe. He filled in on a few things that I was unaware of that happend while he was in Afghanistan and it totaly shocked me.

I spent last night at some good friend’s camp on a lake for New Years. I had a great time. I expected to go and just hang out, wait for new years to come around and go home. I thought it would be kind of boring for me but I had an absolute great time. Six of use sat around a table playing dominoes, a game called Mexican Train. It is now 3:30 in the morning here. I could not sleep so I am up writing to my blog.

I started my winter job today working for Dead River. I also did this last year for Dead River. I am pretty much limited to 20 hours a week but that is fine with me. I can make my own hours as long as it is after 4pm at night.

I thought I would go on a rant here. There have been some things that go on in today’s society that get under my skin.

People have not respected for each other. It seems like morals have changed since I was younger. I don’t even know where to start. Here is a list of things that I have noticed.

1. Kids do not respect their parents. I have seen them talking back to their parents of family members in public and have on many occasions heard them cussing and swear ...

It sure has been a long time since I have written to this blog.

I was still employed the last time I wrote here. I was laid off for the winter this past Friday. I am planning on being rehired this coming spring. At least that is what I am hoping. I have a part time winter job but they don’t need me yet. I hope they call me in to start work soon.
